Commercial Director, Mixed-use Developer, London, Package To Attract The Best
About the Client: My client is an award winning mixed-use developer creating exciting, residential-led schemes across the capital. They have an impressive development pipeline, are well funded and actively acquiring new sites. A typical scheme is multi-level, multi-phased with complex civil engineering works. Their product is aimed at the aspirational end of the market, using international architects and consultants.
About the Role: Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for all commercial activities within the business (estimating, buying & surveying.) You will rigorously investigate the in-house produced estimates to ensure accuracy, working closely with the finance director on cash-flows and projections. You will manage the commercial team and work closely with the delivery team to ensure strict cost control and sub-contractor management.
What we’re looking for: You are a dynamic and robust commercial professional working within either the main-contracting or development sectors. You have strong business acumen and can comfortably deal with legal, financial and construction issues. You are a collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude. You have worked with complex, major building projects (you must have residential experience) ideally in London.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a high-quality individual to work for a dynamic, highly profitable developer creating iconic London developments. I am happy to discuss this opportunity in strict confidence.
About the Offer: Package to attract the best, including Car/allowance, PHI, Bonus.
