These are exciting times for Asset Management in local government. We are undertaking a rationalisation of our Estate and there are opportunities ahead for a Chartered Surveyor to manage a number of key projects as well as continuing to drive forward an efficient and effective Asset Management Business Unit.

The post is for a two year fixed term, managing a team across Asset Management, Estates, Buildings, Facilities and Energy Management, in addition, we are looking to deliver a new leisure centre by 2015 and relocate the Council’s head office, two challenging projects that will be lead by the post holder.

We are looking for an experienced Chartered Surveyor who is highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic. 

A high profile role reporting to the Director of Resources, you will lead and inspire the Asset Management Business Unit and deliver the Council’s strategic objectives.

You will be based at the Council’s headquarters at Kelham Hall, near Newark.
