Due to extensive expansion our client is now looking to appoint an exceptional individual in to the post of Head of Technical and Construction.
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Development the role will be responsible for providing leadership and direction for the Technical and Construction Team, setting and maintaining high standards of performance and conduct, promoting a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation and managing the team in order to take responsibility for achieving targets and managing performance for the successful delivery of all tenures. The main focus will be on improving and achieving design quality from initial layout through to detailed design for all units constructed in order to achieve cost effective and efficient construction processes, compliance with national regional and local funding and planning legislation, CDM and maximization and optimization of sales revenues and to ensure the longevity and cost effective maintenance of the organisations assets and to monitor and control the delivery of this through the life of the project.
The Head of Technical and Construction will be an integral part of the Development Senior Management Team and Development Delivery Team and take responsibility for project management of the Design and Quality element of all development projects.
The successful candidate will be able to illustrate a demonstrable track record as a Technical Manager, Senior Technical Manager or Technical Director (or similar) gained with a House Builder or Residential-led Developer.
