Investment Analyst – Associate – Real Estate Private Equity

A £3.5bn pan-European real estate private equity firm is looking for an Investment Analyst to become an integral member of the investment team. The current team size is not massive so the successful candidate would gain a lot of exposure to the entire deal process.

They invest in a number of commercial asset classes both in the UK and across Europe. They invest in both opportunistic investment opportunities and core-plus, putting a large amount of equity into each deal.

Key requirements and skills for the role;

• Responsible for modelling the cash flows of an investment opportunity to determine returns and quantify effects of potential risks;
• Responsible for assisting the team in all aspects of acquisition due diligence including working with third party consultants to understand all the potential risks;
• Preparation of Investment Committee papers, valuation reports and cash flow analysis;
• Cultivate and maintain contacts across the property investment community to ensure that appropriate opportunities are considered by the company.

Candidates must be able to meet one of the following experience criteria:

• 1 - 3 years Real Estate Investment Banking experience (M&A or Financing)
• Recently qualified ACA or CFA from a Big 4 Real Estate Corporate Finance or Real Estate Deals team
