Head of / Planning Manager – Strategic Land Specialists – North West – Salary to £90,000 (DOE)

About the Client

• My client is a privately owned business who have the financial backing of two much larger organisations. 
• Whilst they are very much in their infancy they have a vastly experienced senior team of directors, all of whom have proven track records within the residential development and house building sectors (predominantly with plc organisations).
• They are a North West based company however have a much wider geographical reach with medium to long term aspirations of eventually becoming a national land vehicle. 

About the role:

• Reporting to the Managing Director you will initially work within a small team of professionals supporting all planning matters associated with buying strategic sites throughout the North – both brownfield and greenfield. 
• As the company grows so too will your accountabilities and your role within the management team – you have the potential to become Planning Director.  

 
What We're Looking for:

• You are a diligent and tenacious team player who is able to work under their own initiatives.
• You are able to manage planning applications from first sketch up to planning committee, using your analytical skills, commercial acumen and passion for the built environment to achieve the best possible solutions.
• Suitable candidates will have a minimum of five years’ experience either working for with a residential developer, local authority (including RP) or multi-disciplinary consultancy and a full understanding of the Land and Planning process
