The role is available for an experienced customer service manager with a good level of technical understanding from a background working on the tools. You will need to have an excellent technical knowledge for this role. You will be responsible for directly managing a small team of 5+ engineers, coordinating their diaries to make sure all remedial works are completed within the given time frames.

Description

The Customer Care Manager - 5* Residential Developer - role will involve the selected candidate supporting the Head of Customer Service with the daily management of the Customer Service department.

There will be the requirement for this candidate to directly manage 5+ engineers / consultants and coordinate their whereabouts to make sure that all remedial works and maintenance articles are attended to in an appropriate time frame.

You will be expected to deal with customer issues for a mix of sites, not being responsible for one specific site but overseeing several sites to make sure everything is under control. There is another two Customer Care Managers looking after 2 further sites, remotely based, who this manager would communicate with to discuss any escalated customer complaints.

Profile

The ideal candidate for this Customer Care Manager - 5* Residential Developer - in Reading will need to be currently working in the Residential Development sector and be able to be located close to Reading the majority of the time. The role will require some travel to other sites, overseeing the works carried out by engineers and consultants.

You should be able to clearly show where you have had experience managing small teams between 3 - 7 people, what you have had to do to keep your team motivated, and problems you have faced whilst managing individuals.

This role will be varied and involve you getting your hands dirty, working over your basic hours at times and making sure that customers are given the correct level of service they should receive.
