Our client is an internationally renowned house builder and are looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on site at one of their residential schemes of 550 units in Wallingford.
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, your main responsibility will be to create and manage budgets whilst forecasting and minimising risk. You’ll competitively procure and manage all subcontract aspects of the development, collaborating with other departments to provide input and advice, ensuring developments are value engineered wherever possible. You’ll also generate, review and maintain payments to subcontractors as required.
You’re an experienced Surveyor within residential construction with established, positive relationships with a wide range of subcontractors. You have good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks to a high degree of quality and accuracy. Excellent negotiation skills are a must as is a full, clean driving licence. Ideally, you’ll have experience of ‘extra care’ block construction but this is not essential.
This is a challenging role in a very busy and fast paced environment offering a rare opportunity to add a real contribution and value in achieving the desired outcomes for the business. If you are energetic, experienced, commercially minded and driven then please get in touch to arrange a convenient time to chat otherwise please click apply to provide some contact details and submit your CV.
