Residential Development surveyor up to Associate director – Retirement living
This role is for a leading consultancy working within Residential Development Division. The client is looking to recruit at Surveyor up to AD and is paying up to £60k + car allowance + bonus + benefits etc.
The role
- Appraise and value Retirement Housing.
- The remit will be UK wide, but predominantly in London and the South East The Retirement Housing team offer a full range of services across the sector specialising in the disposal, acquisition and valuation of ‘over +55s’ retirement housing, housing with care and assisted living.
- Required to prepare and manage fee quotes, pitches and client updates and issue a range of reports advising on value, in addition to consultancy reports and market led advice to clients.
- You will be responsible for managing clients on a day to day basis and promoting the department internally and externally to generate business and fee income, attending events with clients and professional organisations as required.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will be MRICS & RICS registered valuer
- Experience of preparation of valuation reports and a full understanding and awareness of economic, legislative, residential and commercial trends.
- Strong communication skills are essential with the ability to build and maintain successful relationships at all levels, alongside attention to detail and an orderly approach to work.
- The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who takes a highly proactive approach to business generation and enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team.
