An exciting PropTech start up company based in Reading are currently seeking an exceptional, self-driven Customer Development Manager, with a track record of driving growth. The successful individual will be able to adapt to positive change, think of the bigger picture and consider long term goals and implement the sales strategy to deliver growth and revenue.

The Customer Development Manager will support the CEO in meeting the company's commercial targets and will also work closely with the Customer Experience team to ensure customer aftersales satisfaction is maximised.


The role will initially be on converting leads focusedfrom the company's database in particular professional landlords and larger portfolios owners
via a combination of outbound calling, face to face appointments and event work.


The role will evolve to incorporate the development of relationships with
reseller partnerships alongside the CEO and even the development of other revenue driving opportunities such as advertising revenue from the company's platform.

The individual will therefore need to have the ability to identify new commercial opportunities whilst maintaining profitable partnerships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities


. Work with the CEO and Directors to refine and implement the sales strategy to deliver growth and revenue
. Provide regular sales pipeline updates and forecasting for the year ahead
. Proactively identify and make outbound calls to prospects in order to generate subscription sales
. Demonstrate expert knowledge and awareness of the company's products and be a key conduit for the flow of customer feedback to the company's product development team
. Accurately record information on the relevant systems
. Demonstrate a passion for great customer service with the ability to communicate with their customers and exceed their expectations
. Understand the value drivers of the business in order to identify and propose profitable commercial opportunities to grow revenue and market share
. Work closely with the Marketing team to feed into the design of any sales presentations and marketing assets to be used with prospects
. Work to exceed targets set individually and as a team
. Show support for business values and demonstrate a high level of honesty and integrity
