Head of Development Management, Regeneration, Hampshire c£55,000 + Benefits

As Head of Development Management the main objective will be to maximise development opportunities and to create places and buildings that improve social and economic wellbeing. You will be responsible for development control, planning enforcement and S106 from a planning perspective, and for providing timely service delivery and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities also include:

• Determining planning applications 
• Providing a performance management framework
• Dealing with complex planning proposals
• Advising on planning legislation and policies
• Preparing reports
• Line management

The ideal candidate hold a degree relevant to planning and will be MRTPI qualified. They will have extensive knowledge of planning legislation and experience of development management. They will be process driven, a proven leader and have the ability to work under pressure.
