Job Ad description:
This is an exciting time to be managing a team responsible for delivering and facilitating new homes, regeneration and new developments across the city. This is an opportunity for you to play a significant role in making Southampton an even better place for those residents, visitors and those who work in the city.
We are looking for someone who can provide clear leadership for major regeneration and development programmes in the City, so that they can contribute effectively to the future economic prosperity of the City and residents. You will also ensure effective programme management of the projects being delivered and supported by the city council team and by those engaged on the council’s behalf.
You will have relevant experience of managing significant projects and programmes within the approved parameters and working with and through stakeholders and partners. We are also looking for someone who has the ability to negotiate effectively and be an advocate for the City, the City Council and is partners
You will manage a team of regeneration and development officers plus the design team.
