As a forward thinking large property holder, they are looking to take on commercially minded, dynamic individuals to drive their vision of the future.

Description

The successful candidate will ensure the council is aware of the development opportunities and value of its land and Property Holdings. They will undertake the necessary professional work associated with those sites and developments. This will include;

Obtaining consents

Preparing reports and valuations

Marketing & Negotiating all conditions of disposals & developments

Recommending courses of action & financial settlement

Negotiating detailed terms & achieving completion of transactions

Profile

The successful candidate will be a confident, problem solver with a keen interest in all aspects of development and the workings of local government. Must have an inquisitive nature and be able to remain adaptable to work through problems and achieve the end goal.

Must be able to confidently engage and negotiate with internal teams and stake holders as well as external agents and businesses. Must be willing to seek out new challenges and strive to develop.

The ideal candidate will be an MRICS General Practice/Development Surveyor with experience in development, working on similar high profile/city centre projects.

Job Offer

The Interim Development Consultant will have a long term interim position with the client, on a part time of full time basis. Flexible daily rate dependant on experience.
