Band 8d, salary plus £4,156 Outer London High Cost Area Supplement
Richmond and Twickenham PCT is a high performing organisation with a well-established track record of service innovation and delivery. With an estate portfolio valued at around £ 30 million, it includes Teddington Memorial Hospital, a community hospital with a walk in centre and 50 in-patient beds and the proposed site of the PCT's polyclinic. The PCT is also in the process of redeveloping two community clinics, one via a LIFT scheme, and has just instigated a tripartite review of estate strategy with the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and South West London and St Georges Mental Health Trust.
Leading on the development of the PCT's estates strategy, you will provide expert advice to the PCT Board on strategic capital planning and capital projects, be responsible for the oversight of major capital programmes, and take the lead in developing effective partnerships with the NHS public sector and independent sector bodies.
Experience in the NHS is not essential; as long as you are an experienced Capital Projects Director with proven senior management experience within estates capital projects and have an engaging and creative approach, we would like to hear from you.
The post is initially available on a two year fixed term contract and we are willing to consider secondment, part-time or job share applicants.
