My client requires a Commercial Director to work on projects throughout the London and South East area. The successful Commercial Director will be working on major rail / infrastructure projects.

Location: London, South East

Remuneration: £80,000 per annum

Company and Role: Our client is one of the largest and most respected consultancies working globally with over 90 years of experience. They excel in supporting the development of commercial strategies, procurement strategies and commercial targets as well as being responsible for implementing the processes, procedures and tools to manage them.

My client requires a high calibre candidate who has the technical experience and competence to represent them professionally when dealing with their client. You will expect to advice in estimating, tender preparation, procurement, project controls liaison and management. Post-contract duties include the management of implementation and administration of contract agreements including instructions and contractual correspondence and the provision of financial reporting amongst other responsibilities.

Skills Required:
• Ideally the Commercial Director should have a proven track record working on major construction and infrastructure projects with a value of £200 million plus.
• RICS membership is advantageous
• BSc in Quantity Surveying is desired
• Track record of leading, influencing and managing change with in complex project environments
• Detailed knowledge / experience of Rail and Transport sector Pre and Post contract Commercial Management
