Estimator / Senior Estimator – For market leading Main Contractor

An experience Estimator / Senior Estimator is required for a market leading contractor for a number of New Build and Refurbishment projects

Location:
- Essex

Remuneration:
£45,000 – £55,000 per annum depending on experience
Executive company car or a generous car allowance

The client:
My client are the New build, fit out and refurbishment arm of a world class construction contractor. Due to success within their current markets, their parent company are continuing to expand at a massive rate and continue to post record profits from recent trading.

The job:
The Successful Estimator / Senior Estimator will be responsible for completing the preparation of profitable tenders (on a competitive or negotiated basis) as selected by the management of the company. You will be required to manage tenders in accordance with company procedures from its arrival through to rejection or acceptance.

Projects are predominately Refurbishment and New Build in the Commercial, Retail, Industrial, Health, Education, Leisure, Residential and Local Authority sectors. Project range between the values of £1million - £15million

As the Estimator / Senior Estimator you will be expected to undertake all the estimating duties including the pricing and tendering for design and build construction contracts.

Requirement:
•HNC in Building Studies or similar would be and advantage
•Minimum of 5 years estimating experience in a similar role
•New build and Refurbishment experience
