A brilliant opportunity has arisen to work with an NHS Acute Trust in the North East to head up the Estates Team within their busy Trust.
Main Responsibilities:
As Head of Estates you will be responsible for the planning, management and execution of the Trusts Estates & Capital Projects functions. You will be able to give professional advice and consult on the provision of building and property services within the Trust. Ideally you will be a proven leader with a solid background in engineering, ideally with experience of NHS or other healthcare Estates Management.
You will be educated to Degree level and possess a Chartered qualification (MCIOB, MRICS, RIBA etc)
• Provide independent Professional Estates Advice to the Director of Estates & Facilities on all aspects associated with the design, construction and operation of future Major Developments
• Day to day management of senior Estates staff, dealing with Engineering, Estates Management & Projects
• Contribute to the achievement of the Trusts business and strategic goals.
• Contribution to the plans for a £multi-hundred million redevelopment/new build
