HAVE YOUR SAY: EG survey on race diversity in real estate

EG is seeking to understand people of colour’s experiences of working in property and the state of race diversity in the sector.

The recent events in the US have spurred EG into action, and we want to make sure that we use our voice and position in the industry to stamp out racism and help create a truly inclusive sector.

To do this, we are asking property professionals, no matter your race or ethnicity, to fill in a short, anonymous survey so we can understand the issue better.

As the issue of white privilege is put under the spotlight, EG is asking why the majority of property’s workforce is white, and why people from BAME backgrounds are rarely visible in senior or leadership positions.

The survey results will form part of a fresh new commitment from EG (Respect, kindness and why we should all reflect on racism) to provide a platform of resources and advice to enable the real estate industry to build a better sector, and a better world.

Please fill out the anonymous survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/BAMEinCRE
