The role:

  • 60% Project Work and 40% Professional
  • Working with major developers and landlords.
  • Technical Due Diligence
  • Preparing and negotiating schedules of Dilapidations
  • Pre-Acquisition Surveys
  • Project Management of projects up to £3 m - £5 m
  • Running Retail Centres
  • Very Client- facing
  • Building Insurance Reinstatement Cost Assessments
  • Preparation of Specifications and Contract Documents for repair, refurbishment and alteration
  • Working with a high calibre team

The ideal person:

  • MRICS with minimum 2 years PQE
  • Good communication skills with a pro-active approach
  • Good team working skills
  • A strong track record as a building surveyor within commercial sectors
  • Previous experience in Dilapidations, party wall consultancy, Technical Due Diligence and Pre Acquisition Surveys.
  • Background in the London market working with asset management and private funds desirable
  • An enthusiastic, motivated and driven individual with a natural drive and flair
  • A clear thinker who demonstrates attention to detail
  • A hands on approach and a willingness to work alongside the team to deliver quality work.
  • An ambition to drive the business forward and an interest to develop both new and existing services
  • An ability to develop business through building strong working relationships internally and externally

The package:

  • Associate Director: Up to £40,000-£50,000 + car
