My client is a major mixed-use developer who create a broad range of projects from residential to commercial to logistics to retail & leisure. They have a very stable portfolio of sites coming down the “pipe” and now wish to appoint an Associate Director – Development who is able to work with the team to lead the management, co-ordination and development strategies for a portfolio of existing and new major projects.

Reporting to the regional director you will lead c3 - 4 projects which are at various stages within the development cycle. When you work with a new site you will lead the process to identify what the most commercially suitable use is and progress this strategy utilising various external and internal resources (architects, planners, technical consultants etc.) In addition you will work closely with the various stakeholders (Local Authorities, end-users, funders etc) ensuring the smooth throughput of the development up unto the point there it can be passed over to the project management team to deliver the scheme.

You are an experienced development professional who has a wide range of “early stage” development skill, ideally gained working with a broad range of product. You have a commercial outlook and are able to, though experience and market testing, identify the most profitable development solution. You are a dynamic character who is able to work as part of a high-performing team as well as on your own. My client has a fantastic reputation as a place to work and they are keen to recruit a candidate who will add to this culture.
