VALUATION & ESTATES MANAGER
Permanent Contract – £44,632 - £49,416 pa Plus £3,000 pa market supplement (Subject to implementation of pay review with effect from 01/04/19)
We are looking to appoint a Valuation & Estates Manager who has the enthusiasm, drive and technical knowledge to lead, motivate and develop the Council’s Estates team.
You will be a member or fellow of the RICS with registered valuer status (or eligible to obtain registered valuer status), with significant post qualification experience and at least five years managerial experience gained from either the public or private sector.
You will be expected to seek to optimise the Council’s property portfolio through rental income, developments and capital receipts, plus provide professional advice, guidance and support in estates matters across the Council.
You will have an in depth understanding of estate management and landlord and tenant matters, plus detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements of both local authorities and the RICS Professional Standards.
The post will require you to have excellent written and verbal communication skills and you will need to have very strong numerical competency and be proficient in carrying out valuations for a range of purposes.
