Building Surveyor - Devon

Building Surveyor required to join a large organisation based in Devon to manage and deliver minor-works

Your new company
As a Building Surveyor you will be joining an organisation based in the Devon region who are responsible for maintaining and improving a large portfolio of commercial properties including offices and retail units.

Your new role
This is a diverse and busy role which will see you taking ownership of the delivery of a range of diverse minor works projects in the Devon region. These projects will include refurbishments, upgrades, improvements and extensions and will allow you to manage all health & safety aspects of works, as well as design processes.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have prior experience working as a Building Surveyor responsible for delivery of minor works projects withing commercial property. You'll need to have an understanding of design, tender processes, drawing up specifications and schedules of works, managing contractors on site and project handover phases.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a competitive hourly rate of between £22 - £24 per hour and an initial contract of up to 6 months in length. This contract is likely to extend further and there is also potential for you to apply for a permanent position in the future.
