As part of the firms growth strategy, they are seeking a Capital Raising Manager to drive capital raising and support the firms aim to significantly increase AUM.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Capital Markets Director will work with the team to increase AUM to £1bn within 5 years.
  • The individual will develop and execute new fund opportunities as well as joint ventures and co-investments.
  • The individual will develop and execute new strategies to expand the business including the acquisition of existing property businesses and establishing new complimentary businesses by identifying and backing best in class
  • individuals.
  • Will be responsible for the corporate structuring and tax aspects of funds, joint ventures and co-investments.
  • The individual will raise capital from their existing equity and debt relationships as well as expanding this network.
  • Manage investor relations and queries.
  • Build best in class processes and operations for servicing and reporting to investors.
  • Raise debt from a wide variety of lenders.

Key Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years' experience in raising equity and debt for real estate opportunities.
  • Strong track record in raising from institutions, private equity and family office investors.
  • Ideally experience from within real estate investment banking, real estate investment or real estate advisory.
  • Extensive knowledge of all aspects of funds including financial, legal, tax and regulatory matters.
  • Excellent knowledge of structuring, tax, due diligence and legal documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and able to undertake their own analysis and projects.
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment and generate new strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to multi-task and deal with competing priorities and work to tight deadlines.
