Document Controller

My client an Architects Practice creates stunning residential and mixed-use developments across London. They have an impressive reputation, and have won awards for transforming disused parts of the capital and them into vibrant communities. they are looking for a Document Controler to come and work for their busy firm.

They develop employees and promote from within, accelerating careers with their industry-leading 12-month leadership and talent development programmes. You will be project based however you will be based in stunning offices, not on site.

• Manage & issue customer change forms.
  
• Raise & issue documents under Site Instructions to subcontractors.
  
• Assist Technical & Commercial departments with collation of packages.
  
• To keep effective and efficient archiving of all electronic and hard copy documentation.
  
• Maintain document registers and ensure these are up to date.
  
• Organise and file hard copies of drawings, documents and samples received.
  
• Occasional document collection or delivery to third party offices and sites.
  
• Provide assistance and support to the office and site Admin staff.To review, check and save drawings, specifications and other controlled documents from consultants and contractors.
  
• Manage the Site Instruction Process.

Essential Experience;

• Minimum of 3 years Document Control experience.
• Knowledge of Sharepoint and Aconex is preferred.
• A good standard of computer skills including Microsoft packages and electronic document control systems
