Permanent position - circa £30,000 - £40,000 plus car allowance, bonus + package

The Company

An established housebuilder in the South Yorkshire region is looking for an Architectural Technician to join its Technical team. This housebuilder has a focus on building quality homes whilst simultaneously regenerating and improving local communities. The quality of their product has become increasing more important as they work toward achieving 5-star status.

The Role

In this role you will be responsible for-

• Reviewing and amending technical information/drawing to ensure commercial suitability.
•  Assist with the preparation and submission of planning applications
• Manage planning applications through the process
• Distributing technical information to other departments as and when is required

The Position

The ideal candidate will have worked for a housebuilder in a similar role or have experience working within an architectural consultancy on residential projects. Excellent communication skills and experience of maintaining good relationships is key for this position as well as a high level of attention to detail. Experience of working with AutoCAD and submitting plans for planning permission is essential.
