Asset Manager - Real Estate - OUR CLIENT is a successful, equity rich, Global Real Estate Investor and Asset Manager who have instructed us to recruit an experienced, commercial Asset Manager to join their London team.
THE ROLE will assume responsibility for one of their prestigious global portfolios including large central London commercial asset content offices. The successful incumbent will be expected to:
- Assume responsibility directly for a portfolio of sizeable commercial assets in the City of London.
- Attend monthly Management meetings.
- Provide property and portfolio advice to the Management Board.
- Manage capital projects including direct project management roles.
- Develop and grow strategies to preserve and enhance asset values.
- Review property budgets and financial plans.
- Manage the leasing process and marketing programmes.
- Monitor contract compliance and performance of property managers, letting agents and service providers.
THE PERSON: To apply, candidates should be MRICS, with a university degree and at least to 6-8 years PQE of real estate in the UK, including project management of capital works and refurb programs. In addition, you will be a strong communicator and team player who can demonstrate strong financial and analytical acumen together with excellent report writing skills and a proven career track record to date focusing on asset management. The successful candidate will join a small team with a flat, autonomous structure, so a 'hands on' work ethic is important.
