Cad & /GIS information officer - Trainee/graduate

Trainee opportunity for an enthusiastic professional with excellent autocad skills working in asset management

A busy strategic estates department of a Local Authority are seeking a trainee or graduate level addition to their team.

Your role will be to ensure the asset management information, Cad information and GIS plans are accurate, reliable and up to date and to a high standard. Initially the focus will be on the cad plans and
GIS systems but the role has the potential to evolve into using other mapping systems ( map info and Terrier)and asset management databases.

You will be an expert within autocad 2d and be keen to utilise this skill in a property management environment. You do not need to have any specific surveying experience but you will be closely working
with land surveyors, estate surveyors and valuers who collectively manage the local authority's assets.

If you are a recent graduate or college/school leaver or have a few years experience using autocad 2d
in any sector and are looking for an interesting next step, this could be for you. There is a realistic possibility that the role will develop into a permanent opportunity with excellent benefits.
