Real Estate Data Analyst – London – Up to £45,000 Per Annum

An immediate requirement has arisen with a client working in their In House real estate team as a data analyst.   This role is based in London and offering up to £45,000 per annum.  

The successful candidate will ideally have 2/3 years post graduate experience where you will be working in the business development team gathering data on property portfolios.  You will be responsible for cleaning the raw data & help to visualise the information so that clients can make informed decisions on their real estate portfolio. 

A property background isn’t essential but would work well.  The successful candidate needs to have good experience of analysing raw data, excellent Excel, SQL and Power BI, commercial modelling exposure (or understanding).

Job Role:

• Primary purpose is to support in the delivery of analytical insight for all client driven requirements, supporting the successful acquisition of new business and retention of existing contracted business.
• Liaise with the internal teams and clients directly to gather and consolidate data on property portfolios.
• Cleanse and prepare the data for analysis.
• Augment the data with internal and external benchmarks.
• Continuously look to improve this process for future projects.
• Analyse clients’ property portfolios
• Benchmark cost and efficiency against the market and best practice.
• Collaborate with the project team and devise solutions for the client.
• Model the financial and operational impact of the different scenarios.
• Use Power BI to create visuals which shows the impact of the solutions suggested.
• Create presentations to explain the solution at an appropriate technical level for the client.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to define requirements for analysis.
• Produce project plans to ensure clear communication and timely delivery.
• Provide ongoing updates to stakeholders on progress and risks.

• Skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint etc)
• You must have essential technical skills in MS Excel - familiar with logical functions, vlookups and pivots, and business intelligence tooling experience (Power BI)
• Educated to degree level
• Professional & confident
