About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our office-based team in Victoria, London. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree (e.g. finance, real estate etc.) or relevant experience in a data analyst role. You must have an excellent eye for detail and the ability to organise your own workload. The individual must have the ability to analyse large volumes of data and identify trends to help influence decision making across the business. Accuracy and the ability to articulate insight are both very important in this role as you will often need to work to tight deadlines, while maintaining the highest standards of work product expected from the business. The individual will primarily work within acquisitions team but will be expected to work on projects across Sage.

Key duties

  • Analysis of acquisitions data across a wide variety of internal and external sources to identify trends/KPIs
  • Creation of dashboards and analysis tools to continuously improve acquisition process
  • Produce regular updates to the team on acquisition performance and wider market trends
  • Supervision of the maintenance of various internal databases
  • Leading residential development research projects
  • Ad hoc research and data analysis projects across the business
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues from both Sage Housing and partner companies

  • Have a genuine interest in the residential market and data analysis
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to provide quick insight on large volumes of data
  • Proactive and keen to learn
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Actively participate in a dynamic and constantly adapting environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in written English
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a team but also manage own workload
