(Professional) Senior Project Manager, Client-Side Role, Major Mixed-Use Projects, South Yorkshire

About the Client 
My client is a major developer and development partner for some of the most exciting urban regeneration projects within the UK. Across their projects they undertake a broad range of product including: hotels, retail & leisure, residential, offices and extensive public realm works. Due to major project wins in Yorkshire they wish to appoint a high-quality Senior Project Manager to lead one or two of these projects.

About the Role 
Working closely with the regional director you will be responsible for the project management of circa two projects at any one time. You will appoint and lead the various consultant teams and tender and appoint the main contractor to deliver the scheme. Key to the role is the ability to identify and brief the right professional teams/contractor, maintaining effective pressure to ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget.

Personal Requirements 
You are a highly skilled Project Manager who is very probably working within consultancy, ideally with an understanding of large-scale retail projects. You have a desire to work “client-side” which will enable you to really have ownership of a major project and see the process all the way though. You are a clear thinker who is a strong leader who can deliver a complex message in a practical way. You are professional, reliable and will take responsibility. In addition you are a team player who works well with a team of colleagues who are equally well-motivated as you.
