Hugely exciting opportunity to join an award winning Investment Management company who have a far more creative approach to Property than almost any other company in the current market. They only buy property that requires active asset management, and they then deliver the full range of refurbishment, re-letting, lease re-gears, lease restructures, etc as well as more intensive development. They also drive short term value from the assets through creative use of the space, including pop-up’s, filming, events, etc. They have close to £300M under management at the moment with an aggressive expansion target.

They are now further expanding the team and need a very creative, entrepreneurial Project / Asset Manager to first and foremost take responsibility for development and refurbishment projects across their portfolio. They have a very fresh and design led approach to development and refurbishment, and refurb projects are usually extensive and include change of use elements.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Management of development and refurbishment projects.
  • Engage with, coordinate and manage with all necessary advisors throughout the process including: quantitative surveyors, contractors, planning advisors, architects etc.
  • Work closely with and coordinate with the asset manager to ensure project delivery.
  • Undertake reporting in line with internal processes and timescales.
  • Management of refurbishment / development budgets across the portfolio.
  • The successful candidate will be given the platform and support to make the role their own.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • MRICS qualified; 2+ years post qualification.
  • Experience in office led development and refurbishment projects is essential.
  • Experience / exposure to planning policy’s and permissions is essential.
  • Project management experience is highly desirable.
  • The successful candidate will be self-motivated and will be expected to work independently. The candidate must have a strong team ethic and be able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to take ownership and manage complex projects.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Must have a good eye for design and interest in architecture.
