THE ROLE

  • Sitting within the Land Management team you will be required to provide professional property service, valuation and estate management advice to a number of high profile developers, house builders, and investors within both the public and private sector. 
  • Develop leadership skills by taking responsibility for a small team
  • All aspects of Landlord and Tenant matters
  • Compulsory Purchase and compensation negotiations
  • Consulting on the valuation of properties covering a geographical remit throughout Shropshire, Herefordshire, Staffordshire, Wales and Worcestershire. 
  • Planning and Development 
  • Providing consultative advice and valuations to clients on traditional rural estates, commercial, agricultural and residential let properties
  • Capital gains tax, inheritance taxing, secured lending and internal accounting.

THE IDEAL PERSON

  • Dynamic & engaging with an interest in a stimulating and varied portfolio
  • A sound knowledge of valuation, rent, lease renewals and asset management
  • Thorough understanding in setting and running of service charges, budgets and LL&T Act
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • A resourceful individual, commercially minded with the willing to take on new responsibilities
  • Excellent negotiating, communication and problem solving skills
  • Ideally MRICS qualified or with at least a few years post qualification experience within rural 
  • Ability to build relationships, network and engage with other teams across the business
