Regional Director, Housebuilding, North West, SME Developer

About the Client 
Jones Homes is a long established housebuilder operating across the North West, West Yorkshire and the Southern Home Counties. They build a high-quality product and have a well-earned reputation as a stable and sensible business. With a strong pipeline of new sites and capital to invest they are well-set to face the market no matter what the next few months may bring. Due to an internal restructure the business now seeks to appoint a Regional Director to lead its North West housebuilding division. 

About the Role

As Regional Director you will report to the Group Managing Director (Homes) and be responsible for leading all aspects of the business across the North West, ensuring a strong pipeline, identifying opportunity and paying due respect to risk. You will lead a multidisciplinary board of directors who are each responsible for their own discipline, ensuring that that have the tools available to undertake their roles to the best of their ability. You will put in place robust checks-and-balances that will enable you to keep tight control on the business and identify any problems early so that they can be dealt with in an efficient manner. Key to the role is the ability to further develop the culture of the business where employees really feel that they have a stake in the business and are prepared to go the extra mile. 

Personal Requirements

Jones Homes will consider both existing Managing or Regional Directors or indeed Discipline Directors who are ready to make the “step up” in to a more strategic role. You are a committed and bright individual who has a calm and professional manner and can show a track record of building and developing teams. You have a common-sense approach and are happy to work within well-developed, existing structures making incremental improvements where necessary.
