Valuation Surveyor 6-12 month Contract on Hourly/Daily Rate

A Sheffield based firm of Property Consultants and Chartered Surveyors serving a national client base, requires a Valuation Surveyor to engage on a 6-12 month basis. You will be paid by the hour/day for your work + expenses. 

You will be conducting valuations with their clients in a specific sector which will be based on the capitalisation of a rental income. It is expected you will take a 1-2 days for each report, initially doing the on-site inspection and the remainder doing the comparable's (utilising extensive in-house data) and then compiling the report utilising the report template. Although the role is based in Sheffield, because of the nature of the role, it won't be the kind of role where you will be tied to your desk, so applications are welcome from candidates living in the East Midlands, North West as well as Yorkshire. 

Initially, you will do the first handful of visits and reports with one of your colleagues for guidance, but once up to speed you will be managing your own workload, and there is a healthy pipeline of work to complete.

This client would also consider a candidate that may be looking to work on a part time basis, so you could do perhaps 3 or 4 days a week if this was your preference.

Experience wise, you need to be an MRICS chartered surveyor and a registered valuer. As long as you have those attributes you can quickly be brought up to speed on the workload.
