Investment Analyst

The focus is on monitoring, understanding, writing and discussing European/ global property trends with a view to supporting colleagues, clients and PR initiatives in the Capital Markets sphere. Additionally, the role will necessitate monitoring and understanding the strategic target clients of the group through public and internal data.

The candidate should have excellent communication and analytical skills and be able to develop a strong profile internally to help the team deliver key financial and business development targets on its strategic clients.

• Capable of web and database research as well as original research when required to maintain and improve our insight into our key clients.
• Capable of covering all sectors and markets for consultancy, publications and presentations
• To assist in the production of reports for internal and external clients and to assist in fee-paying consultancy.
• Specifically, to analyse and draw logical conclusions/identify trends in relation to market conditions using economic and property data and contribute to the firm's thinking and help in communication.
• Collection and dissemination of property, economic and other data
• Contributing to client projects for Capital Markets and assisting in due diligence, pitching, business development and supporting sales mandates.
• Respond to internal and external requests for information/support

About you:

Skills

• Above average writing and communication skills
• Above average numeracy, spreadsheet and preferably economic or financial analysis skills
• Capable of developing to generate research and ideas in their own right.
• Client facing, good communicator (written and oral) with insightful and interesting style
• Strong team working skills
• Able to prioritise several projects at once, work to tight deadlines
• Capable of working seamlessly/interchangeably with the team

Knowledge

• A mix of market, economic, financial and research expertise
• Commercially aware

Experience

• 2 years plus experience in relevant role
• Experience including real estate and international markets preferred
