The Company

My client is a long-established residential developer known for their traditional-build family homes and apartment schemes. They have a reputation for innovation and training and developing their staff, and they are in a period of growth.

We are looking for an experienced land professional who is looking for a career focused position.

The Position

The role reports to the Land Director and will involve all aspects of Land acquisition. We are looking for an acquisition focused candidate who enjoys managing people, this is a team focused position. The main responsibilities are as follows;

• Identify potential sites for acquisition
• Liaise extensively with local agents/contacts and networking
• Land promotion with the vendors
• Negotiation with vendors and institutions
• Monitoring local land supply
• Ensure that all internal and external stakeholders are updated and contributing effectively through site assessment and feasibility studies

The Candidate

The successful candidate could be an experienced land manager who wants to work in a business with strong growth plans. This role will suit a candidate who is ambitious and keen to see their career progress, we need a candidate who is comfortable to be out in the region and being proactive in site identification. Previous experience of working for a residential developer is desirable.
