Senior Property Manager, Global Commercial Property Consultancy, Belfast, £Negotiable

Your new company
Hays are working in partnership with a global commercial property consultancy in the recruitment of a Senior Property Manager for their Belfast division.

Your new role
Based in their Belfast office, you will assist in the management of a busy commercial property portfolio in Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will deliver, with the assistance of the team, the day to day output required in respect of each property and to the required standard. Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the line manager on larger client projects and accounts
  • Supporting senior management in creating presentations for business development and pitching purposes
  • In conjunction with the line manager, delivering written output ensuring excellent quality
  • Maintaining regular contact with key stakeholders such as banks, receivers, financial institutions, state bodies, owners, tenants as well as other stakeholders, lawyers etc
  • Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of client reporting
  • Maintaining a fee-system analysis, client acceptance testing and money laundering checks
  • The line management of both site and junior staff members.


What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you must be self-motivated, goal orientated and have excellent relationship management skills. You must be able to display a proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels. An essential factor for success in this role is that you have sufficient property management experience and can maintain focus on satisfying all customer needs and managing expectations. Key competencies

  • Technically competent with the ability to earn client trust
  • 3 -5 year's post qualified experience in property management, in particular, the management of retail / office
  • Ability to identify opportunities and show signs of introducing business to areas within your sphere of influence
  • Relevant primary degree in property
  • Strong verbal, numerical and report writing skills
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • A team player
  • Good interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Honesty, integrity and openness, high ethical standards
  • RICS qualified or in the process of completing / intending to complete qualification
  • IT competent and ideally have experience with the property management software system Yardi
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Have a full valid driving licence and use of own car.
