Superb new role has become available with a multi-disciplinary consultancy in Lancashire for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.

A leading, multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Central Lancashire who are on a mission for expansion and specifically looking to double in size over the course of the next 2 - 3 years. With the business now having opened several offices there are huge development opportunities for their employees to advance their careers. The business has an exceptional pipeline of work over the coming years and are excited to have this opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the business.

Your new role
You will be working within the main Lancashire team, you will be responsible undertaking a range of construction cost management consultancy services. Projects will depend on the office your working in however, they may consist of large commercial builds, residential developments, hotels and leisure, universities, schools, offices and other public-sector schemes. As part of your day to day role some of your responsibilities may include, but not limited to preparing cost plans and estimates, undertaking feasibility, measurements and preparing BoQs, producing cash flows and forecasting, preparation of tender documents and contract administration, tender analysis and processing contractor payments, post contract management and final accounting and day-to-day project management for a cost perspective all with the supervision of an experienced MRICS Quantity Surveyor.

What you'll need to succeed
To apply for this position the Quantity Surveyor must have a BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent and have some experience working for a PQS consultancy although Main Contracting experience will also be considered. You must have a positive and can-do attitude towards your career with strong communication skills. What you'll get in return
