Property Supplier Relationship Manager
£40,000 - £42,000 + benefits
Manchester city centre
We’re looking for a supplier relationship manager to join our commercial team. Over the next five years, we’re planning on growing our Co-op and making the communities we serve great places to live. The property team has an important role to play in supporting this transformation.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for working with suppliers and colleagues to make sure projects are running smoothly. It’ll be your job to establish, maintain and develop relationships with suppliers.
What you’ll do:
- Work closely with procurement, monitoring key objectives to make sure we are getting the contracted service delivered
- Establish and maintain supplier relationships
- Confidently challenge in the right way if a service isn’t being delivered
- Meet with suppliers in line with Co-op SRM framework, and work to improve service in line with contract KPIs
This role would suit people who have:
- Strong communication skills and experience managing supplier relationships
- Detailed knowledge of the service industry
- The ability to interpret data, produce reports and can present that data clearly to colleagues and project leads
- Good time management and confidence working to deadlines while managing multiple priorities
- Knowledge of legislative requirements in relation to construction, multiple site construction relationship
- Intermediate excel skills would be an advantage
