A leading real estate finance specialist that has provided more that £450m since the companies’ inception that works very closely with its sister development company. They are looking for an asset manager to join their growing team. The successful candidate will sit between the finance company and their development company to ensure the portfolio and developments are performing and being developed on time and within budget.

The Asset Manager will also play a key role, assisting in the reporting/analysis, underwriting and transaction management of new real estate debt opportunities and the portfolio management activities for existing investments.

Typically, the client is financing for residential and mixed-use developments in the South of England, but they are now looking to expand into London and commercial assets. You will gain exposure to many areas of the business and report directly to the CFO.

Key Requirements:

  • Prepare and present portfolio analysis, asset reviews and performance reports
  • Identifying critical issues regarding asset performance and evaluate impact
  • Run internal models to assess transaction profitability and risk ratings
  • Identify qualitative, quantitative and market factors that will impact expected returns and profitability
  • Monitor and evaluate the investment portfolio performance, participating in third party meetings, and analysing proposed budgets, capital plans and other investment recommendations

Key Experience:

  • Preferably MRICS qualified surveyor or professional with qualifications such as CAIA/CFA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience gained in a property consultancy, a real estate investment manager/ or private equity firm
  • Transaction and property asset management experience
  • Excellent commercial and financial analytical skills including an advanced knowledge of Excel modelling techniques
