Estates Surveyor in Warrington offering £26000 - £39000 flexi time and excellent package

Your new company
You will be joining a public sector organisation who due to continued investment in to the estates team and plans to acquire large amounts of property to manage they are looking to appoint an Estates Surveyor to the team. This is offering excellent work life balance and a varied workload.


Your new role
The role will be providing support to the Property and Estates Management team, gaining experience in being responsible for a portfolio of retail, industrial and office properties. The team is responsible for negotiating lease renewals and rent reviews, identifying asset management initiatives and value enhancements within the portfolios, developing landlord and tenant relationships, and general in-house property management. This role provides invaluable APC experience if you are not already chartered. Assist and support small projects including valuations, dilapidations, insurance, repairs, licenses, easements, wayleaves, assignments, change of use and sub-lettings in order to maintain and enhance the investment portfolio which includes properties such as commercial, office, land, community use, telecommunications etc. Assist in the management of the maintenance of buildings within the commercial portfolio, preparation and management of dilapidation works.
The post holder will report to the Estates & Valuation Manager.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a general practice surveyor with demonstrable commercial experience. You will have experience in Acquisitions and disposals - range of Valuations - Lease renewals Rent reviews. Ideally be MRICS or working towards APC.
