Planner or Senior Planner (Kent)

A great opportunity has arisen for a chartered planner to join an expanding consultancy in central Kent. This firm are a multi-disciplinary consultancy offering a good variety of work and plenty of autonomy which would offer very good progression.

We are looking for candidates who are ideally MRTPI qualified operating at senior planner level (although we may consider a strong planner for the right person). We can consider candidates from the private sector or local government but local (Kent/Southern Home Counties) experience is essential so we are really looking for those coming from either one of the nearby authorities or consultancies. We are looking for a good grounding in development management but also good knowledge of local policies. The team work on a mix of residential, mixed-use, rural, change of use and some commercial schemes. This is for a range of developers, land owners and institutional clients. We are ideally looking for a generalist to be able to service all of these types of work.

Candidates will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package and bonus potential as well as plenty of responsibility and progression. A full-time appointment is our preference, but we could consider part-time/reduced working hours. This is a lovely firm with a really supportive team, people genuinely really enjoy working here and they have very little staff turnover.
