Building Surveyor / Project Manager (Property Co)
PSD’s client which is a Property Company with a substantial portfolio in the South East is recruiting for a Building Surveyor / Small Works Project Manager. The role is to be responsible for the delivery of refurbishment and dilapidations projects and we are seeking a qualified building surveyor (RICS) or an experienced construction manager (CIOB).
The main purpose of the role is to coordinate construction projects, providing technical advice and financial responsibility for delivery. You will be managing multiple projects at any one time ensuring projects are delivered within budget, specification and timescales.
- Prepare agreed scopes for minor works projects and capital improvement schemes
- To liaise with customers to deal with dilapidations liabilities and encourage co-operation and settlement.
- To provide technical advice to the Asset teams on requests for occupier alterations and consider applications made under the Licenses for Alteration process.
- Select and effectively manage selected contractors.
Candidates will have experience of building surveying and project management (commercial office, industrial units or retail environments would be ideal) and delivering refurbishment projects. You will be RICS or CIOB or close to achieving a qualification. Candidates will need to be located West London / Reading / Slough area.
