Hourly rate is dependant on experience ie £35-£50ph

Your new company
A successful and thriving private sector organisation in Berkshire who operate a multi-disciplinary construction practice are now seeking a contract/temp PQS to join them as they are now having to turn down work as the current staff are already assigned to projects. There is a permanent opportunity available for the right candidate if desired with a competitive package. With a large span of clients in a variety of sectors including social housing, local authorities, schools and uni's, health trusts etc - an interesting and diverse selection.

Your new role
Working in a medium-large team of other PQS professionals, you will be providing advice on cost advice for materials / labour / professional fee's / site prep / fit out costs etc. Dealing with bills of quants, measured term contracts, a range of people liaison including architects and engineers, negotiation of final accounts etc.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong experience in PQS work, having worked in a consultancy setting previously, ideally you will be a chartered MRICS QS, although my client will consider applicants who display the right skillset. You will hold a full UK driving license and will be at ease in client facing situations.
