Assistant Asset Manager
Based Greater Manchester
Up to £35,000 plus car + benefits.
Are you looking for an entry level Asset Management position? If so this is an excellent opportunity to work for an established property investor who own a number of commercial assets throughout the Northwest. My client is keen to hire a capable assistant to support the wider management team with the running of the portfolio. It's an excellent opportunity for a recently chartered surveyor or candidate progressing their APC to step into a true asset management role.
Key duties will include:
- Handle all aspects of new letting and lease renewals, from agreeing heads of terms to completing leases in conjunction with a solicitor
- Respond to customer enquires and attend viewings
- Liaise with agents on the letting and marketing strategy of properties
- Produce marketing literature
- Assist the asset manager with rent reviews, lease renewals and general asset management initiatives
- Ensure regular tenant liaison
- Support the management team in identifying new potential investment purchases
- Deliver cost efficiency in relation to all aspects of ongoing properties and buildings
The appointed candidate will have gained some experience working either for a client or private practice, able to demonstrate a good understanding of local market rental incomes and values. APC support will be provide to those looking to progress their APC.
