Highly successful property management and services company is looking for someone to manage their portfolio


Your new company
One of the largest privately owned investment companies in terms of portfolio, this organisation owns, invests in, and manages a number of industrial, retail and office buildings across the country on behalf of a number of well known charities and household names.

They have been in operation for over 15 years, and pride themselves on being able to provide a holistic service in Asset Management. There is a flat hierarchy with a self-starter/autonomous drive on work - you are encouraged to manage your own workload and maximise earnings for the business.

With a discretionary bonus in place related to the earnings and/or savings you make the company, there is a potentially lucrative opportunity for the right person.

Your new role
You will be responsible for the monitoring of rent reviews of currently leased properties in line with the subjective clauses of the agreements, establishing when memorandums are due to be sent, liaising with external consultants on valuations, and keeping the wider business informed of the status of all reviews.

For more experienced people, there will be more emphasis on L&T, business rates, acquisitions and disposals as well as all of the above.

What you'll need to succeed
You must have proven experience in a consultancy or client side environment, working on rent reviews, lease agreements, lettings, rates, L&T, acquisitions and disposals. Ideally you'll have some industrial/retail/office exposure too.

Most importantly you will be a driven, ambitious, self starter and self motivated. You'll be fairly autonomous and there isn't room for hand-holding - you'll need to be MRICS or close to, or experienced enough that you aren't looking for your APC.
