Development Executive

Native Land is a leading property development and investment company delivering some of Central London’s most exciting mixed-use schemes. We have an opportunity for a Development Executive to join our Development Management team.

The role

Provide internal and multi-national external Stakeholders with detailed EXCEL based financial modelling, analysis and reporting for our complex mixed-use development schemes in Central London. In particular analysing and reporting on impacts to the business plans from changes in, planning, social housing, acquisitions, and JV ownership.

Specific responsibilities include:-

  • Use of EXCEL software to build, run and maintain sophisticated financial appraisals and cash flow forecasts.
  • Co-ordination and management of budget and assumption control within each financial model.
  • Periodic report preparation for shareholders, lenders and other key stakeholders.
  • Development of strong internal and external business relationships.
  • An overview of debt and equity facilities and preparing reports to lending banks and equity partners. 
  • Internal liaison with development, sales and finance teams. 
  • External liaison with cost consultants, funding partners and lending banks. 

Qualifications

  • Numerical undergraduate degrees preferred. (Min 2:1)
  • MRICS. Circa 2 years relevant experience.

Experience & capabilities

  • Ideally, have detailed financial modelling experience gained in a reputable London based property developer or adviser.
  • Demonstrate advanced Excel spreadsheet and related software capabilities. 
  • Ability to model complex property development scenarios.
  • Demonstrate enjoyment of and an interest in financial modelling and analysis.
  • Possess strong analytical skills 
  • Strong communication skills suitable for multi-national Stakeholders
  • Some work experience on large complex residential led mixed use development schemes in Central London would be beneficial.
  • Highly motivated towards a career in within Native Land.
