Senior Investment Associate

My client provides bespoke financing solutions to a diverse range of clients as well as being directly involved in major property developments. Since their inception they have been involved with a number of impressive transactions and developments and it is this strong track record that has led to their continued growth and respected track record in the market. They offer the finance or JV with a partner as well and being the principle developer on a number of projects.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Investment Directors and be an integral member of the Investment team. They work across a number of asset classes from residential, commercial, hotel and student accommodation and must have the experience to fully execute deals.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct financial analysis including cash flow modelling, carrying out asset valuation and preparing development appraisals
• Quantitative and qualitative appraisal of deals to establish whether they are worth pursuing
• Build good rapport with clients and brokers for smooth client / deal onboarding
• Prepare and present first and final stage Credit Committee papers
• Identifying critical issues regarding asset performance and evaluate impact and sensitivities to various inputs
• Attend briefing meetings and calls when appropriate
• Work closely with the Junior Analysts to establish the most appropriate research strategy for each assignment

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree
• 3-5 years of work experience in real estate banking, lending, investment, advisory
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint applications
• Excellent analytical skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit and results driven character
• Organised and thorough with good attention to detail
