Our client is a leading, well established contractor specialising in the design and build of commercial interior fit out and refurbishment projects.  They are held in high regard and retain a select client base.  Due to continued expansion, they seek an immaculate and polished Business Development Manager to assist the business to achieve 25% planned strategic growth.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director the role is focused in the Midlands however the business does operate nationally so legitimate leads across the UK could be pursued.  Specific responsibilities include:

  • Leading strategic business development growth and activity in line with business strategy
  • Researching, developing and agreeing the regional business plan
  • Budgeting and forecasting to meet targets
  • Generating and managing project pipeline
  • Researching/identifying and reporting on opportunities with new and existing clients
  • Managing the opportunity development process for the MD from identification through to negotiation/bid
  • Ensuring clients have account plans in place that are reviewed regularly
  • Being the point of contact and liaison for stakeholders, internally and externally
  • Supporting and working with the team throughout the project lifecycle through bid, delivery and post-handover to exceed quality and experience KPIs / expectations

You’ll have proven business development experience and be able to demonstrate success.  Personable and engaging with a natural flair for building relationships you’ll already have key contacts within the construction industry and be a self-starter able to generate leads to build the business pipeline.
