Your new company
A public sector organisation are looking for a Technical Repairs Officer to join them on a 1 Year FTC basis. With a focus on customer service and improving the lives of people in the local community, they are doing some fantastic work to push the business forward and become a leading provider of affordable homes.

Your new role
You will be joining an established team, dealing with day to day repairs and other project related issues to ensure that the homes of residents are maintained to a good standard. Your main part of the role will be providing advice and technical support in emergency situations as well as other scenarios, carrying out diagnostic inspections and ordering works to be done. You will also be tasked with dealing with any contractual disputes, using a PDA device, endeavouring to save money wherever possible regarding the cost of repairs, materials used etc.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a previous background in large and small scale property repairs and will have supervised or managed maintenance staff previously. You are passionate about customer service and good value maintenance. You will have managed budgets before and will also hold a full UK driving licence.
