Credit Officer @ Specialist Entrepreneurial Bank

RealRec is delighted to be working with a specialist lender, with divisions such as bridging finance, motor finance, development finance, asset finance, specialised mortgages, plus others.

On their behalf, we are looking for an experienced Credit Officer to join their extremely successful and well respected team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to be an integral part of a very ambitious and hardworking company, where you will be supporting the Senior Credit Officers.

Roles and responsibilities:

- Credit and risk management

- Attend Credit Committees where required

- Provide input and approval of credit decisions

- Carry out due diligence for new facilities

- Review counterparty risk, valuation reports, monitoring survey reports and AML/CDD checks

- Undertake credit analysis and reporting across lending units

- Identify any deteriorating trends apparent in the portfolios or wider market

- Make suggestions for the development and enhancement of Credit policies and procedures

- Liaise with key internal stakeholders across the Lending Units, Compliance, Audit, Finance and Risk and third parties

Requirements:

- 3 years' experience as a Credit Officer in the Banking sector

- Self-motivated

- Strong work ethic

- Desire to learn

- Professional at all times

Our client are offering a very competitive salary package circa £60k - 65k + generous package. Please note we would consider more for outstanding candidates.
